The Director of Consumer Marketing will create and lead the director to consumer strategy for all of the company’s products.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive the development of company strategy and tactical plan
  • Partner with leadership and various internal stakeholders on technical build and funnel creation.
  • Drive consumer messaging and brand strategy for existing company products
  • Develop patient / consumer content, working cross functionally to ensure an integrated and timely execution.
  • Ensure strategies and tactics are aligned with professional promotions strategy.
  • Work closely with leadership to implement digital tactics, media and analysis.
  • Drive strategic engagement and partnerships with relevant support groups.
  • Support brand with relevant PR opportunities, including but not limited to strategic partnerships.
  • Gain approval for marketing materials through internal review process and ensures marketing activities follow compliance, regulatory and legal requirements.
  • Perform ongoing analysis of consumer marketing campaigns while achieving expense targets for areas of responsibility; lead expense budget tracking and contribute to budget planning.

 

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field, MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years Product Management experience.
  • Experience managing large annual media budgets.
  • Knowledge of health care and/or medical marketing industry.
  • Experience with campaign development, execution, and product launch
  • Experience working with agencies in development, implementation and execution of patient/consumer plan.
  • Manage multiple agency partners to produce deliverables within timelines and budget.
  • Understanding of direct-to-patient marketing.
  • Strong traditional and digital media planning and analysis experience.
  • Ability to professionally execute plans to senior executives and investors.
