Job Summary:

Our client is currently searching for a Director of Marketing to oversee all marketing initiatives, both internal and external, across multiple platforms and formats to drive sales, engagement, retention and leads to guarantee maximum customer acquisition and revenue growth.

This individual is an expert in all things related to content, channel optimization, brand consistency, segmentation and localization, analytics and meaningful measurement and creating and maximizing customer loyalty.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Report directly to the CCO
  • Work directly with sales leadership to develop and maintain an effective lead generation strategy.
  • Work directly with sales leadership to develop and maintain a strategy to collect and analyze customer behavior data and make recommendations based on those results in order to attract customer attention and maximize company exposure.
  • Leverage market data to develop content themes/topics and execute a plan to develop the assets that support a point of view and educate customers that leads to critical behavioral metrics.
  • Conduct periodic competitive audits.
  • Work to establish and manage customer path to purchase to maximize penetration of services.
  • Collaborate with key channel partners to design and execute joint marketing projects.
  • Develop standards and best practices for content creation, distribution, and maintenance including the real-time implementation of content strategies.
  • Design and direct production of marketing collateral including but not limited to: Print ads, social media content, educational and promotional videos, and presentations.
  • Ensure all content is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality and tone of voice, and optimized for search and user experience for all channels of content including online, social media, email, point of purchase, mobile, video, print and in-person.
  • Conduct ongoing usability tests to gauge content effectiveness.
  • Direct partner marketing activities including but not limited to: trade shows, industry conferences, campaigns and other promotional activities.
  • Work with the executive team to pull through ongoing brand strategy re-development and translate into actionable implementation.
  • Design customer journeys leveraging CRM solutions to meet the desired customer experience targets and business objectives
  • Lead detailed analysis of campaign effectiveness and tracking, reporting and operating systems to be aligned resulting in reliable data
  • Oversee social media campaign and analytics to develop strategy and pivot
  • Direct strategies to test, optimize, and scale performance marketing efforts across paid social, programmatic, SEO/SEM, and content syndication to generate demand
  • Understand and clearly define segmentation based on personas, targeting and analysis
  • Identify insights through digital measurement and performance tools to inform strategic decisions and actionable insights
  • Development, management and evolution of brand guidelines which provide guidance for creative content
  • Management and oversight of content development for digital and non-digital advertising
  • Lead re-design of company website, market exposure, industry footprint and digital scalability
  • Experience creating and supporting integrated digital marketing, social media campaigns, engagement events, developing full cycle reveal-to-launch and post-launch strategies
  • Experience designing and leading growth strategies and customer acquisition programs
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced company where the feedback cycle is measured in hours rather than weeks
  • Appetite for all things digital and social including developing innovative campaigns, leveraging the newest tech across platforms, and desire to identify opportunities for strategic brand involvement

Experience and Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing (or equivalent experience). MBA in marketing a plus.
  • 10-15 years of experience as a respected leader in multichannel content creation
  • Management experience including P&L responsibility and people management
  • Experience with creating compelling messages for different target demographics
  • Expertise in all major business software applications (Adobe Creative Suite, G Suite, screencast, etc.).
  • Expertise in Salesforce CRM and Marketing Cloud a plus.
  • HR-related experience including hiring, managing, performance reviews, compensation packages, etc. required.
  • Audience development and subscription strategies experience a plus
  • Experience in the dental or medical industry is a major plus
