The Operations Manager is responsible for effectively managing US production.  This role will be responsible for leading the core operational departments to deliver on the growing sales pipeline whilst increasing operational efficiency and improving service delivery.

Responsibilities:

Essential Duties

  • Provide inspired leadership for the US operation.
  • Make important policy, planning, and strategy decisions.
  • Develop, implement, and review operational policies and procedures.
  • Implement and manage high quality KPI reporting to drive improved outcomes and provide the executive team full visibility of performance and pipeline.
  • Identify, own and resolve any operational issues.
  • Drive continuous improvement.
  • Ensure customer enquiries are being managed, including proactive communication as required
  • Responsible for ensuring process and equipment is operating efficiently
  • Assist HR with recruiting when necessary.
  • Help promote a company culture that encourages top performance and high morale.
  • Oversee budgeting, reporting, planning, and auditing.
  • Work with senior stakeholders.
  • Ensure all legal and regulatory documents are filed and monitor compliance with laws and regulations.

  • Program and operate CNC 5 Axis Milling Machinery
  • Effectively establish rapport with team members and customers
  • Providing a proactive and responsive attitude to customer's needs
  • Act as a role model for other team members always demonstrating excellence in customer service
  • The ability to accept change and assist in the introduction of new systems, technologies and processes.
  • To participate in the organizations training programs and other team activities as appropriate
  • Play an active role as a member of the team and ensure all employees can work with dignity, courtesy, respect and have a positive workplace experience
  • Engage in performance and career development initiatives
  • Ability to work across USA and Australian time zones when required
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years Operations Manager experience
  • Demonstrated achievements in senior operations leadership positions
  • Personal "hands on" leadership and coaching skills, including the ability to handle several business units and areas of responsibility
