Job Summary

The Regional Sales Manager represents the product portfolio to targeted customers within upstate New York. Responsible for account and market development, the Regional Sales Manager provides technical product and procedure consultation, lab process support, and directs patient services guidance. Assigned sales goals are obtained through account creation, consultative selling and implementation of the U.S. Sales/Marketing plan. This person leverages company resources to enhance adoption of the portfolio and synergistically works and coordinates activities with other company personnel and support teams.

Key Expectations and Responsibilities

  • Attains or exceeds assigned sales goals defined in terms of sales consistent within the approved marketing plan objectives.
  • Demonstrates effective selling and account development skills
  • Develops partnerships with account influencers and decision makers, holds customers accountable to commitments, builds loyal relationships, and motivates customers to become product advocates.
  • Fosters relationships with local key opinion leaders (KOLs) and VIP customers.
  • Consistently develops and executes geographic selling plans to implement the marketing plan and meet sales objectives.
  • Demonstrates ability to assess territory metrics to develop and implement territory business plans.
  • Exercises good judgment and manages corporate funding / budgets within approved guideline.
  • Creates and implements a program of professional and personal development to promote growth and experiences.
